Trevonne cast of 70 ready for curtain up at Melton Theatre

Trevonne Stage School's Musical Theatre group 'Bright Sparks' are ready to tread the boards again this weeekend at Melton Theatre.

Following the success of last year’s production Hooked on Peter Pan their family show The Little Mermaid JR is set to feature colourful costumes, singing and wonderful acting from a 70 strong cast.

Experience life under the sea with Ariel (Rachel Hall) and Sebastian (Melanie Daniels) in her journey to find love. Watch out as wicked Ursula (Amy Lawless) has her own plans to take over the sea world kingdom but never fear, with Scuttle (Hattie Sessions) and Flounder (Kate Rhodes) to protect her, along with the dashing Prince Eric (Hannah Rodenby) and the ever popular King Triton (Stuart Scarborough), you are sure of a happy ending. Supporting these main characters are a versatile chorus group whose ages range from 5 to 20.

Performances take place on Sunday at 2pm and 6pm at a price of £8 concessions and £10 adults.
