Thrussington to hold a street party for the Queen's 90th

A number of fun attractions have been organised at Thrussington for a street party on Sunday, in celebration of the Queen's 90 birthday.

Selected activities from the event which starts at 2pm include music by Lizzie Rush at 2.15pm, a royal fancy dress competition at 3pm, cake cutting at 3.15pm, a children’s entertainer at 3.30pm and music by Blue Skies in June at 5.45pm.

The event which takes place on the village green will include free tea, coffee and cake to people of all ages.

There will also be ice cream available and a sweet stall. Children under 16 will receive a celebratory mug.
