Something for all at Dove Cottage's summer fete

Dove Cottage Day Hospice in Stathern will hold its annual summer fete on Sunday in celebration of its 20th anniversary.

A family dog show organised by Judith Daws is set to be the main attraction at the fete, which runs from 1.30pm-4pm in the gardens of the hospice on Canal Lane.

Entertainment on offer also includes stalls, children’s games, face painting, have a go archery by the Belvoir Archers and a prize draw at 3.45pm.

There will also be ice cream, cream teas, Morris dancing, a performance from Stathern Primary School Choir at 1.30pm, a demonstration from the Defence Animal Centre at 2.30pm and a visit from Melton Fire Service at 2pm.

Registration for the family dog show which includes 10 classes starts at 1pm.
