See flourishing oasis at Melton's Tresillian House for the final time this summer

Green-fingered enthusiasts will be able to get a final look at Tresillian House's flourishing outdoor oasis this summer next weekend.

For the last time until October the gardens in 67 Dalby Road, Melton, will be open to the public as part of the National Gardens Scheme on Sunday (August 28), from 11am to 4.30pm.

The three-quarter acre garden was re-established by its current owner between 2009 and 2012 and features blue cedar trees and a tulip tree as well as a bog garden, pond and vegetable plot.

Admission is £2.50, and free for children, and cream teas and ploughman’s lunches will be served.
