Organisers of Knipfest publicize event overseas

Organisers of the Vale of Belvoir music festival Knipfest have been on a fun filled road trip overseas, publicizing the event ahead of its scheduled weekend start.

Committee members John Copley and Phil Noon, purchased a car for less than £200 and travelled 1,000 miles to and from Normandy Beaches, on the anniversary of The D-Day Landings (June 5).

The pair were joined by Phil Brittan, a member of band Crazy Ape and Ian Potter of RSI Body and Paint Repairs in Grantham.
