Today at 8.15pm.

Florence Foster Jenkins (PG)

In 1909, at the age of 41, Florence Foster Jenkins (Streep) received an inheritance that enabled her to realise her operatic ambitions. Undeterred by her total inability to sing, she gave private recitals and embarked on a notorious musical career, managed and indulged by caddish British actor St Clair Bayfield (Grant). Stephen Frears (Philomena) fashions an amusing and often poignant biopic of a woman driven by self-deceit. Friday, Monday and Thursday at 6pm, Saturday at 8.30pm, Sunday at 7.30pm, Tuesday at 1pm, 3.30pm and 6pm and Wednesday at 8.15pm.

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot (15)

Adapted from US war correspondent Kim Barker’s memoir, Whiskey Tango Foxtrot finds Barker played with quixotic verve by comedian Tina Fey. Dispatched to war-ravaged Kabul, Barker must negotiate a succession of hindrances – personal, professional and invariably dangerous – in this great combat comedy. Friday and Saturday at 8.30pm.

Miles Ahead (15)

Don Cheadle brings plenty of attitude to this Miles Davis biopic, which marks his directorial debut and in which he stars. Monday at 8.30pm and Wednesday at 6pm.

Bastille Day (15)

When pickpocket Michael (Madden) steals a bag, he unwittingly becomes the prime suspect in a terrorist attack. He is ruthlessly pursued by CIA operative Sean Briar (Elba). They are both caught up in a political conspiracy, which turns into an entertainingly incendiary race against time. Tuesday and Thursday at 8.30pm.
