Marie Curie urging Melton residents to join great tea party

Marie Curie is calling on people in the town to hold a Blooming Great Tea Party between June 20-29.

Sophie Wallace, community fundraiser for Marie Curie said: “It’s easy to support Marie Curie with a Blooming Great Tea Party and it really is up to you how you decide to join in.

“Last year in Leicestershire we had a huge variety of parties, from in people’s back gardens, to tea rooms, to businesses, and this year we want Melton residents to go even further and tell us about their tea-riffic plans.

“Every pound raised will enable us to help even more people living with a terminal illness which includes those we support directly in Leicestershire through the at-home nursing service.”
