Male choir to perform at St George's Day Concert
The Belvoir Wassailers are set to perform at the St George's Day Concert at Melton Mowbray United Reformed Church on Saturday, (April 23).
The male voice choir based in the Vale of Belvoir were originally formed from the Belvoir Castle Estate workforce. They now have a core membership of two dozen men. The choir have a varied repertoire and the soloist will be Elaine Bishop, accompanist Jenny Walker and musical director Caroline Jones.
The concert opens its doors at 6.30pm and starts at 7pm. Admission is free and there will be a collection during the concert for church funds.
