It’s the latest in a cluster of tough fixtures for Gareth Collins’ side against the league’s top teams.

Melton edged to a 15-12 win last time out at Northampton Old Scouts, but they will be hoping to improve on the last home game when leaders Newbold swept them away in the second half in a 34-14 defeat.

Old Northamptonians sit second in the table, four points adrift of the leaders, and won the reverse fixture 25-5 back in October.

The visitors have lost just three times this season, but came unstuck at third-placed Kettering last month.

They will arrive at Burton Road, however, on the back of a three-game winning streak. Kick-off is 2.15pm and all support is welcome.
