Former Leicester Tigers hooker George Chuter will lead a coaching session at Brooksby Melton College on Saturday.
The session is open to aspiring players aiming to join BMC’s pioneering rugby academy, based at their Brooksby campus.
Chuter, who won 24 caps for England, made more than 290 appearances for Leicester Tigers in a 13-year career at Welford Road.
Anyone interested in taking part must pre-register by email firstname.lastname@example.org or call (01664) 855209.
The academy aims to offer theoretical knowledge of sport science, strength and conditioning, and find out what it really takes to succeed in the sports industry, while honing their practical rugby ability.
It is also open to non-sport students with a passion and talent for rugby.
Principal Chris Ball said: “It’s an exciting time for sport at BMC, and we are delighted to be welcoming George Chuter as guest coach at the rugby trials this weekend.
“With excellent links within the sports industry and outstanding facilities, we can offer our students the very best learning experience which will prepare them for a fantastic future.”
