The Melton and Belvoir School Games Tag Rugby competition, for school Years 5 and 6, was themed around the World Cup and saw 13 teams battle it out across three pools.

After some very high quality games, Frisby, Brownlow and Hose made it through to the play-offs.

Frisby won both play-off games to be crowned winners and will now represent Melton and Belvoir in the Leicester-shire and Rutland School Games on Thursday, May 21.

Brownlow finished runners-up, while third-placed Hose won the Spirit of the Games Award for demonstrating the value of respect.
