CHART-topping recording artist Tinchy Stryder hit the ramps at Melton’s Terminal 1 Park this week during a free Halfords BMX sessions event encouraging youngsters to take up the sport.

The MOBO award-winning artist, who has had two UK number one singles, also wowed Tuesday night’s crowd by treating fans to some of his hits, including new single ‘Help Me’.

The UK’s leading cycling retailer, Halfords, launched the free sessions at the park in July to encourage children to take to the ramps and learn basic BMX skills over the holidays.

Tinchy said: “I’ve really enjoyed working with Halfords to introduce more young people to BMX.

“I had a lot of fun at Terminal 1 and after a fun day on the ramps the kids were excited and up for it – the atmosphere was wicked!”
