ONE of the biggest names in UK music will be making a guest appearance at Melton’s Terminal 1 skate park on Tuesday (October 30).

Hip hop and R & B artist Tinchy Stryder is to appear at a free BMX session sponsored by Halfords.

The MOBO award-winning performer, who is a fan of BMX riding, will drop in to soak up the atmosphere and chat to fans.

Professional BMX riders will also be present for the event, which is aimed at building confidence in cycling and teaching basic skills.

Everyone who attended the Halfords BMX sessions at the skate park during the summer and those aged 9-14 who want to learn about the sport are welcome.

Four skill sessions lasting two hours each will be held during the day, while Tinchy Stryder will attend an evening event from 7pm to 8.30pm.

Anyone interested in taking part should register at www.halfords.co.uk/BMX
