Muay Thai Assassins in final preparations for March show
The show starts at 6pm and will consist of around 20 bouts, including 17 Assassins and a world title showdown, making it the gym’s busiest-ever event, according to promoter and Assassins instructor Mark Barlow.
Iman Barlow tops the bill, fresh from her Las Vegas victory, and will attempt to defend her WKA world belt against Colombian opponent Ilsury Hendrikse.

Co-headlining the show is Iman’s brother Thai who will go up against a tough Dutch fighter.
There will also be Dutch opponents for George Griffiths and George ‘Crazy Horse’ Dryland as they go up against Ilias Maachi and ‘Knockout Machine’ Hjalmar Rudge, respectively.
Two Irish fighters will also make their Melton bow as Elaine McElligott, from Cork, takes on Englishwoman Hannah Turner, from the Unit One gym, and Dublin’s Aoibhe Walsh fights Melton’s Naomi Blankley.
Melton Assassin, Kammal Chamberlain, stands in the way of Stoke fighter Jamie Jones and an April world title challenge in what is expected to be one of the evening’s highlights.
