Arr Boy put in a dominant display in Melton Summer Pool League as they thrashed the Welby 8-1, taking them to third in Division One.

Notorious TIB grabbed their second win as they beat Half Cut 6-3, while Rock Out With Your Chalk Out and Pool Boyz earned 5-4 wins over Phoenix Knights and Welby Wanderers respectively. Both teams are now level on points just behind the leaders.

Rob Taylor was denied a treble in the final frame of You Shall Not Pot’s 5-4 win over I Smell a Re-Rack.

* In Division Four, Burton Street Preachers held on to top spot after Mike Allen’s treble saw them past the winless Con Merchants, 6-3.

Noels 365 are mid-table after an impressive 6-3 result against See You Next Tuesday, but We Are Solids Right! are just two points behind the leaders after defeating MSC Elite 6-3.

Beedies Bitches kept up their good form with another 5-4 win over Legion B.

* Cue Up rose to second in Division Five after beating Cue Chaos 6-3, despite Sam Rayson’s hat-trick.

Our Drinking Team Has a Pool Problem breezed past Bears on Powder 6-3, and Ingall’s Idiots maintained their slender lead with a 5-4 win over Gamblers Anonymous.
