Melton Golf Club seniors maintained their impressive unbeaten home run with two decisive results.

After seeing off the challenge of Radcliffe, 6-2, Melton completed their home programme with an excellent win over Humberstone

* Last Wednesday, Melton travelled to Park Hill who were also defending an unbeaten home run.

The whole contest was very close and ended honours even with only a massive putt on the final hole denying Melton a half and overall victory.

* Melton seniors also played a club stableford on September 8.

The result was very close with the in-form Frank Williams coming out on top with 37 points on countback from Brian Wray.

Denis Dayman took third place, also on countback, with 36.
