Lake View: Morton and Cross into Middy final

Morton weighed in with an impressive 109lb 11oz total to edge out Lake View Select angler Andy Searle and top last Wednesday’s qualifier.

Cameron Cross was the second to make it through as he topped a healthy 24-man field at Saturday’s qualifier, catching 95lb exactly to push Leicestershire angler John Shellard into second place.

Brian Greenbury continued his good recent form by taking another win at the Sunday Open.

His haul of 77lb 6oz left him 9lb clear of closest challenger Danny Higgins.
