Assassins Muay Thai boxing team are six weeks away from their final hometown show of the year.

The show takes place at the Market Tavern, in Melton, on Saturday, October 24 and will start at 6pm to avoid clashing with the Rugby World Cup semi-final.

It will include up to 15 Thai boxing bouts featuring Assassins Iman and Thai barlow, George Griffiths, Paul Chaplin, Michael Robinson, Tyree Stevens and Nathan Donovan.

Robinson will feature in his first Muay Thai bout in eight years following his retirement from boxing.

Melton’s nine-time world champion Iman Barlow will fight for the Celtic Challenge/WIKA world title against IFMA world and European champion Fatima Pinto, from Norway.

Promoter Mark Barlow said: “We have currently matched nine bouts and are matching more each day.

“We have fighters coming from Norway and Spain, and we hope to have seven international fights.”

Tickets are on sale from any Assassin fighter and Nicko’s Fish Bar.
