Brownlow School win Melton and belvoir gala honours
Melton school pupils were in the swim after being crowned overall champions of a district gala.
Brownlow Primary School won the overall team title at the Melton and Belvoir Schools Year 5/6 Swimming Gala, while there was also a prize for Sherard School who received the Spirit of the Games award for determination and courage.
Other schools which took part were St Peter’s, Frisby, Ab Kettleby, Captains Close, Buckminster, Scalford, Old Dalby, Stathern and Great Dalby.
Organisers wish to thank Waterfield Leisure Centre for hosting the event, School Swimming for running the event and John Ferneley College for providing student leaders.
