Siblings Iman and Thai Barlow will top the bill as the Assassins Muay Thai Boxing Club hold their final show of the year on Saturday.

The event will be staged at the Market Tavern, in Melton, and will feature 16 bouts with Assassins and local fighters.

All of the Assassins stars have been matched as Iman goes up against Spanish opponent Lara Garcia, while newly-crowned world champion Thai faces British K1 number one Kristian Haynes, from Swansea.

Haynes has a reputation as a big puncher with ABA boxing experience and is known for stopping his opponents with his body shot.

George Dryland and George Griffiths will both have to be on top form as they take on strong fighters from the Spanish Spartans Gym.

The show also features Megan Corwell, the British number one women’s fighter at 58kg, who goes up against Spanish champion Victoria Lomax, while junior champion Anastasia Butler, from London, will meet Spanish and European champion Noelia Rueda in a high-calibre clash.

Tickets are on sale from Nicko’s Fish Bar, any Assassin member, from the Assassins Muay Thai Facebook page or by calling (01664) 567491.

Doors open at 5.30pm ahead of a 6pm start. Tickets will also be available on the door.
