A thrilling semi-final saw Wymeswold just fail to get the two runs they needed off the final delivery.
In this clash of the league’s top two , Dalby batted first and posted 118-3, Joe Gant top-scoring with 50.
Wymeswold required 10 off the last over and got agonisingly close, only to lose by just one run.
WYMESWOLD v UPPER BROUGHTON
Old Dalby won by 12 runs
Wymeswold bounced back from their cup disappointment to keep there unbeaten league run going.
Wymeswold posted 95-2 with Rob Pitman contributing 47 not out.
The evergreen James Dickens was outstanding in the field. In reply, Rich Randall (23) and Dale Radford (13) started well but they could only make 83-9 (Durdon 4 -22 and Shelton 3 -13).
THORPE ARNOLD v MARS PETCARE
Thorpe won by 25 runs
A fine 46 from Kingsley Miller set up this victory for Thorpe, as they posted 109.
Mars Petcare struggled against a talented young attack. Will Foldys and Lewis Posnett each took four wickets as Mars replied with 84
