New FootGolf facility officially launched in Melton

An exciting new sporting craze which combines football and golf, billed as the UK's fastest growing sport, has arrived in Melton.

FootGolf is played on a traditional golf course with players using their feet, rather than clubs, with the aim of getting a football into the hole in the fewest number of shots.

The popular sport has now been introduced at the Melton Mowbray Town Estate’s Sysonby Acres Golf Course on Asfordby Road, seven days a week.
