The Asfordby Hill side competed against 17 other teams from across the county before eventually finishing as runners-up.

On their way to winning their group, they scored some great team and individual goals without conceding at the other end.

Having progressed to the knock-out stages, Rangers then won their semi-final after a dramatic penalty shoot-out.

In the final they fell to a narrow defeat to an injury time winner, the only goal they had conceded.

Manager Shaun Nolan said: “I was so proud of my players. They are friends on and off the pitch and it was a great team performance.”
