The Melton Charity Cup returns later this month with the first of two round one ties

Barrow Town Youth will take on Mowbray Rangers B on Wednesday, February 24 before Mowbray’s A side face Quorn 2006 on Wednesday, March 23.

Both games are due to take place at Holwell Sports FC (kick-off 7.30pm), subject to the weather and Holwell fixture changes.

Admission for spectators costs £2 for adults and £1 for under 18s and OAPs.

Proceeds from this season’ competitions will be divided between three nominated local charities: Mencap Melton, Age Concern Melton, and Melton Voluntary Action’s gardening scheme.

Syston Town are the current holders after lifting the trophy for the first time last season, beating Barrow in the final in May.
