Melton Charity Cup: Quorn thrash Asfordby

Asfordby FC Under 15s suffered a heavy defeat as the Melton Charity Cup returned on Tuesday evening.

The villagers were beaten 8-0 on their Hoby Road home turf by Quorn in Group Two in another one-sided match.

The next game in the group is scheduled for Wednesday at Holwell Sports FC when Quorn will be in action once more against Sileby in a re-arranged tie. Kick-off is 7.30pm.

Entry is £2 for adults and £1 for under 18s and OAPs which will be collected for this season’s three charities – Guide Dogs for the Blind, the Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance, and Macmillan Nurses.
