In an exciting game, Asfordby found themselves 2-0 down for the second week in a row, early in the first half. But again they fought hard and did not let their heads drop.

Alice Henley, starting up front, twice went close and caused Bottesford problems with her speed, but it fell to Evie McDaid to make it 2-1.

Asfordby continued to press and within minutes Erin Baker grabbed an equaliser, her fourth goal of pre-season.

Bottesford began to find their rhythm again and played some great passes and restored their lead at 3-2.

Ruby Attewell served up some great attacking play on the right and after taking on three Bottesford players she slotted the ball into the bottom corner to level with a great finish.

With 10 minutes left, Bottesford made it 4-3, and it seemed the game had finally slipped away from the visitors, but with only a minute left Asfordby were awarded a penalty.
