Asfordby Amateurs Girls' set for potential title decider

Leicester City Ladies Fosse lost their unbeaten record when they were beaten 3-2 at AFC Leicester and now trail Amateurs by four points with two games in hand.

AFC Leicester are also in the hunt, two points behind Asfordby with one match of their season remaining.

Amateurs are due to host Fosse in their final game of the season and know that victory means they could not be caught in the race for the Leicester City and County Girls U12s League Green Division title.

Success would mark the first league winners’ trophy at the club in eight years and their first title at under 12s for a dozen years.

The showdown takes place at Asfordby’s Hoby Road home ground on Sunday, February 26 (12.30pm kick-off).
