Team Manager and mum of two members of the winning team, Tracy Walker, said: “This was a remarkable achievement as we were the only team at the championships to finish on a team score of zero.
“The judge was so impressed, he came and told them personally how well they had all ridden and how well turned out they were.” - they were a real credit to our Club.”
She added: “Of course, I felt enormous pride myself.
“One of my daughters, Lily, won at the National Pony Club championships last summer in Cheshire, but now having both daughters in the winning team was fantastic, especially as they are both on new partnerships.”
The team members each received leather head collars, cooling boots, sashes and rosettes as well as a silver trophy at a presentation ceremony.
