South Notts League: Old Dalby crush Bingham
Old Dalby travelled to Bingham Seciond XI knowing they needed a win to keep up with the South Notts League Division M leaders.
After winning the toss Dalby elected to bowl and their attack set about their task with gusto.
Tight bowling contained Bingham and they were bundled out for just 67 in 23.4 overs thanks to Carrick Fone (3 for 14) and 16-year-old Matt Lindley (3 for 9).
After tea, Dalby’s openers Rob Herrick (33 not out) and Chris Knott (24 not out) made light work of knocking off the runs required as Dalby reached their target without losing a wicket in 12.2 overs.
