The visitors began well and despite losing White early on, Green and Wilkins started to build a decent partnership.
But once Wilkins was undone by Barney Gott and Green was caught by Parkman, Wakerley’s innings began to unravel.

Hide AdGott and Jack Dilloway ripped through the lower order, backed up by some excellent catching, especially from debutant Alex Robinson, to bowl Wakerley out for 133.
Both Gott (4 for 18) and Dilloway (3 for 36) returned season-best figures.
In reply, the visitors soon had both openers back in the pavilion, but an unbroken 108-run third wicket partnership between Chris Jeary (47 not out) and Leon Aylin (45 not out) saw Croxton home comfortably in the 32nd over.
