Egerton Park juniors ease past Cropston
Park batted first and were worried when Woods was victim to an excellent caught and bowled in the first over.
Creed and Pedlar steadied things with an excellent 50-run stand, which was broken when Pedlar mistimed a sweep shot which ricocheted on to his stumps for 18.

Creed stayed there and added a few more until he retired again at 25. He was ably assisted by Finch with 10, and Chipman closed the innings with him as Park closed on 89-3.
As Cropston opened their innings, Creed took a wicket in his first over which set the scene.
Having used a number of bowlers, Welch came on for a brilliant two-over spell and took three wickets for just four runs, all three clean bowled.
Watchorn ran out three Cropston batsmen, two with direct hits and the other via a stumping by Haffenden, typifying the excellent fielding from both sides.
This culminated in the final Cropston wicket which fell when an attempted chip over Pedlar was caught at full-stretch to give Ellis her wicket.
