Frisby lost a wicket in the first over thanks to a great catch by Hugo Gibbs off the bowling of Spencer Handley, and the other opener was run out soon after to Mike Roberts’ smart throw.

Andy Holland held the innings together with a well-crafted 37, but Frisby continued to lose regular wickets.

In response, openers Mike Roberts (37) and Jamie Tew (28) put on a partnership of 73 in 13 overs before falling in consecutive balls to A. Holland.

With Melton requiring 27 to win off the last five overs, the visitors took three more wickets as Melton went for quick runs.

It was left to Sam Ellison and James Culy to secure seven runs from the final over and victory from the final ball of the match.
