Also winning 7-2 in Melton Winter Pool League's top flight were Amateurs where Tom Kirkpatrick starred against Court by the Fuzz, and Martyn Aley's eight-baller wrapped up the Noel's BBs 7-2 win at the Workerbees.
Martin McQuade also bagged an eight-baller before Dave Smith and Rick Newton won the deciding frame to help Brick a Branch defeat MSC A.

l The Sly Shots maintained their 100 per cent record in Division Three following a 6-3 win over the Con Merchants thanks to Nick Barradell, Steve Taylor and Gregg Richardson.
Trevor Adams was man-of-the-match for Legion B as they beat Phoenix Knights 6-3, and Half Cut also won 6-3 against Burton St Preachers thanks mainly to Dave Stanyer and Ian Johnson.
Andy Hurran and Barry Hart ensured MSC B beat Royale Poke 6-3, while Paul Robinson, and Liam and Jeet Patel steered Legion A to a 5-4 success at Thanks for Coming.
l An early top-of-the-table clash in Division Four saw the Kebab and Calculator end the Rutland's winning start with a super 7-2 victory.
A good night for the Fox Teams saw Vikki's Fox defeat Notorious TIB 6-3, with Richard Packwood and Martin Franklin the main men, while Mark Roythorne, Gareth Gutteridge and Mark Sanson led Hewitt's Rejects to a 6-3 win at the Blue Bell.
Neil Close and Steph and Chris Kirk all won twice for the Crown as they beat Swanning Along 6-3, while Brian Wright was man-of-the-match for Rod's Soldiers as they beat the Pool Boyz 5-4.
