THE visitors won the toss on Sunday and put the hosts in on a damp track.

Barkston went to 100 for 1 off 20 overs before Davies caught an enormous skyer off Raven's bowling.

Raven and Raithatha slowed the innings and the pressure produced wickets, Raven 2 for 24 and Raithatha 3 for 36.

Dutton added three wickets from one over to reduce Barkston to 158 for 9 off their 40, Kelly carrying his bat for an excellent 74.

Barkby's reply was steady. Kelvin Flowers opened his shoulders, but was out for 37 in the fourth over when Eccleshare was run out (71-2 off 20 overs).

John Lee and the steady Mick Davies added 75, before opener Davies (44) was run out after an excellent anchor role.
