TUESDAY, noon: Melton teenager Will Hurrell again did his chances of Tigers first team action no harm with his third try of pre-season.
The 18-year-old was rewarded for his try double against Biarritz the previous week with a place in the Tigers starting XV for their latest warm-up match against the Ospreys in Swansea.

The wing lined up in a strong team packed with internationals including Tom Varndell, Toby Flood, Dan Hipkiss, Tom Croft, Harry Ellis and Ben Kay.

And he proved his worth by scoring the first try of the testimonial match for Wales wing Shane Williams.

Jordan Crane started the move on halfway and Hurrell made good territory on the touchline before staying involved in the move.

He took an inside pass from Flood to cut through the defence and score under the posts to give the Tigers a 10-0 lead.

Leicester went on to avenge their EDF Cup final defeat to the Welsh side with a 30-17 victory courtesy of another try from Matt Smith, a penalty try and 15 points from the boot of Flood.
