Thorpe Arnold return to top of table

TUESDAY, 1pm: Thorpe Arnold Seconds marched back to the top of the table after picking up maximum points against fourth-placed opponents, winning with 32 overs to spare.

Thorpe won by 7 wkts
Winning the toss again, skipper Ian Hickman bowled first and were rewarded with Anthony Lynch dismissing Smith with his first ball.
King and Griffin added 58 for the second wicket before Griffin was caught magnificently by Jonty Hickman in the covers.
The rot well and truly set in for Shepshed as Lynch, Lee Freer and Barry Lecoyte ripped out Shepshed's middle order in a spell of 6-32 between the three of them.
Hall and Shorer then stopped the wickets falling for 10 overs before Chris Waldron returned to claim the last two wickets in three balls.
Thorpe made the best start possible in reply with Richard Randall hitting two sixes off the first two balls. Randall and Pete Humphreys made 38 in four overs before Randall skied one to the covers.
Mark Carnell dominated the rest of the innings with a well-constructed 42 not out with Waldron finishing the game off with an on-drive to the long-on boundary to wrap things up for Thorpe
