THORPE ARNOLD v EGERTON PARK
Thorpe won by 4 wkts

Batting first, Park made 101-3 with Tom Marshall and captain Harry Jinks both retiring on 25, the latter hitting four boundaries.

Thorpe's progress was steady and they were reduced to 14-2 until a quickfire 27 from Christie – with five fours – and Joe Kendall's mature 25 (retired) put Thorpe on track.

Once they had retired, Cropper and Mistry were caught, while Mamos and Koski went without scoring, but Jamie Graham's four clinched victory with an over to spare.
