WEDNESDAY, 4pm: Top racehorse trainer Derek Shaw saw one of his charges complete a sensational hat-trick of race wins last month.
Shaw recently set up new headquarters near Sproxton, and is regarded as one of England's most successful trainers in all-weather horse racing.
Topcroft, a gelding from the Shaw stables, roared to three runaway victories in successive races in December, scooping more than £6,000 in prize money.
The horse won in consecutive weeks at Kempton by six lengths and five lengths, and then completed a superb treble with another win at Southwell.
