School remembers Kim with new award

SATURDAY, 5pm: John Ferneley School's annual winter sports presentation evening last Thursday was dedicated to the memory of Kim Pollard who died just before Christmas.
Guests of honour were Beth and Anna Pollard, both former John Ferneley students.
Emily Saxby won the inaugural Kim Pollard Memorial Trophy, while Jack Sharples won the Steven Harris Memorial Trophy. These awards are given to Year 9 students who have contributed the most during their time at Ferneley.
