WEDNESDAY, 11.30am: Asfordby's new signing Jake Dale-Brown's debut did not begin well with Conner Simons heading in a free kick after two minutes and Conner Sanders' penalty making it 2-0 on 14.

But Amateurs were creating chances, and midfielders Chris Payne, Will Wells, Kieran Foster and man-of-the-match Josh Baker were all challenging well and winning possession.
During the last 15 minutes of the half Amateurs dominated, but struggled to convert.
Six minutes into the second half a quick throw-in found Foster who whipped the ball into the box for Will Wells to head in and reduce the deficit.
Three minutes later it was captain Wells again who hit a hard, low free kick into the box from near the byline which forced an own goal.
The remaining 30 minutes saw good quality football from both teams, but stalemate at full-time took the fixture into extra time.
The deadlock was not broken until two minutes into the second period when Tom Wheeler's well-weighted ball found Patrick Reading who ran on to sidefoot past the keeper.
Amateurs opted to hold onto their lead and defenders Utley, Catlin, Forfar, Baker and Dale-Brown dealt well with a last desperate push from Mountsorrel.
Amateurs: S. Mayfield, B. Catlin, P. Reading, W. Wells (c), M. Houghton, T. Wheeler, C. Payne, T. Uttley, J. Forfar, J. Baker, K. Foster, J. Dale-Brown.
