MOWBRAY RANGERS 4 WIGSTON 2
Wigston, lying only one place below Mowbray in the league, took an early lead, while Rangers' only real chance in the first half an hour came when Kyle Carr shot just wide.
Sub Danny Wardhaugh soon made a good impression and equalised before half-time.
Rangers' passing was slicker after the break and were unlucky to fall behind again after a Wigston break. Man-of-the-match Wardhaugh never gave up fighting and was rewarded with a second equaliser.
Nathan Jones and Luke Darlington played well in midfield as Mowbray pressed. Rangers went ahead when a good throw-in and well-placed pass set up Luke Plakiw who finished well.
Rangers continued to improve and Jones flicked an accurate header on target from Ed Fryer's free kick to seal a deserved victory 4-2.
Rangers: A. Gilbert, J. Perfect, J. Laughton, P. Fowkes, N. Jones, L. Darlington, L. Platkiw, L. Atkinson, K. Carr, E. Fryer, D. Cooley. Subs: D. Wardhaugh, A. Adams.

MOWBRAY RANGERS 2008 6 OADBY/WIGSTON SNIPERS 4
RANGERS took three vital points despite Oadby going ahead after only 42 seconds.
And Oadby soon beat defenders Amy Green and Jessica Baker to score again. Lauren Smith pulled one back, latching onto Jade Chittenham's pass from Shannon Coupland's throw-in, but Oadby made it 3-1.
Stand-in keeper Sophie Rankin made some great saves, but Mowbray attacked again, Bethany Dexter beating several players and setting up Smith for 3-2.
Mowbray improved after half-time and soon equalised when a scramble from Dexter's corner saw midfielder Jade Chittenham net.
Jade Heeley and Hannah Burgon had a great second half, but Oadby retook the lead.
Improved defender Christie Maughan was excellent as another Dexter run and pass found Smith to level again.
Green's fine finish from a corner put Mowbray ahead and just before full-time, quick-thinking Smith's short corner set up Dexter to shoot into the top corner.
Rangers: A. Green, L. Smith, B. Dexter, J. Baker, C. Maughan, S. Rankin, J. Heeley, H. Burgon, S. Coupland, J. Chittenham.

RED EARLS 1 MOWBRAY RANGERS 8
RANGERS scorched into the last four after a four-week break with an eight-goal demolition.
Both teams found the hard pitch tricky, but Rangers adapted better and after five minutes Adam Wright's good cross found Joe Carnell to head home. Jake Robson's shot was just wide and after 20 minutes Callum Cooper's good ball found Wright for 2-0.
Rangers continued to attack, Tom Wing's header putting Rangers 3-0 up at half-time.
With minutes of the restart, Red Earls netted with a good long-range effort which left keeper Groom helpless. Rangers responded within a minute when Carnell's corner was headed home.
A sliced clearance flew into the top corner for a spectacular own goal before Robson added number six from close range.
Matt Hughes and Max Toon went close before Robson's good in-swinging corner went straight in. With time running out Cooper put Wright through to complete the scoring.
Rangers: E. Groom, T. Marriott, J. Walker-Smith, D. Kinnersley-Smith, L. Krzeczkowski, M. Toon, J. Robson, T. Wing, C. Cooper, J. Carnell, A. Wright. Sub: M. Hughes.
