SATURDAY, 8.30am: Just to prove you can never write them off, Nav-Cat-All-Over put a halt to the Amateurs progress at the head of Melton Winter Pool League Division One.
Rob Jack and Melvin Picker starred for Nav Cat in a 6-3 win.

Noels BBs were also 6-3 victors after Graham Hack, Pete Stapleford and John Harley helped them beat Gang Crazy, while Andy Zarebski and Ted Szebor won the deciding frame for Court by the Fuzz as they beat MSC A 5-4.

Ricky De'ath and Darren Smith both won a couple to steer the Fulderiks to a 6-3 win over Brick a Branch, and Nigel Long set up the chance for Sean Wydra to win the final frame decider for You've Been Conned at the Workerbees.

l In Division Two, Fubar started the second half of the season in the lead with Mike Moore, Tom Loomes and Twig all starring in a 6-3 over Ingalls Idiots.

But Treemendus are right on their heels with Scott Corbett, Malc Farrow and Matt Frier leading them to a 6-3 win against the Conkerers.

Timmy's Stick are also still in contention after Pete Davies and Tim Curtis ensured they beat Sonia's Sharks 7-2.

Alan Hughes, David Hill and Brian Hughes were all on song for the Welby as they beat the Crazy Gang 6-3, while Daniel Horton, Halfdan Bunch and Jonny Green were the main men in Boys and Their Toys' 7-2 victory at the GB 69ers.

l MSC B increased their advantage at the top of Division Three after Andy Swann, Paul Miller and Simon Crossland steered them to a 6-3 win at the Con Merchants.

The Phoenix Knights lead the chasing pack after Paul Keightley and Si Wheat won the decider for a 5-4 victory over Legion A, and James White was once more the man-of-the-match for the Royale Poke as they beat Thanks 4 Coming 5-4.

Burton St Preachers came from 3-0 down to beat the Legion B 6-3 thanks mainly to Phil Berry and Graham Wassall, while Dave Stanyer, Sam Pickup and Alun Davies guided Half Cut to a 7-2 victory at Toys 'R' Us.

l With the top three Division Four sides all losing, the Crown took advantage as Steph Kirk set up the chance for mum Chris to win the final frame for a 5-4 victory over Hewitt's Rejects.

The Granby Rejects produced the result of the week as Matt Keightley, Luke Oliver, Lee Craven and Dave O'Gorman all starred in a 7-2 win at Vikki's Fox.

The Rutland Rejects were also 7-2 victors with Tabby, Nigel Street, Andy Hill and Richard McCalman the men in form to beat Swanning Along. Chris Brandon, Simon Hoggard and Pete O'Callaghan ensured Notorious TIB beat the Kebab and Calculator 6-3, while Terry Tarmac, B.B, Paul Lewin and Matt Wade guided the Blue Bell to a 7-2 success at the Pool Boyz.
