Melton aiming for second British title

FRIDAY, 5pm: Melton will be aiming to complete a winning double in the equestrian world this weekend.
British Horseball Association are staging their annual National Championships at Arena UK at Allington, near Grantham, on Saturday and Sunday.

Melton Horseball Club will be among the favourites having retained the British League title last month.

An evening showcase of first division and junior matches will start at 6.30pm on Saturday and will feature players recently returned from the European Horseball Championship where the British ladies' team won silver.

There will also be equestrian stalls, a raffle, refreshments.

Tickets cost £5 or £2.50 concessions, a percentage of which will go to the Riding for the Disabled Association.
