TUESDAY, 9am: Melton were slow out of the blocks and paid the price going two goals behind within 15 minutes as Lichfield tore through the home defence.

The shock of going behind eventually fired Melton into action and they started to take some control of the game, with Leake scoring just before half-time for his first goal since the winter break.
With more positive play Melton dominated after the early exchanges in the second half, starting to generate more chances, this pressure told with Creed scoring two from short corners to put the home side ahead.
Melton once again showed some frailty, failing to take clear-cut chances to bury the game and eventually conceded with five minutes to give the visitors a deserved point.
However the home side will have to look at this as points lost, even though they put in the worst display of the season.
Melton: Taylor, McQuillan, Brown, Wakefield, Willatts, Merrison, Harold, Smith, Davies, Leake, Creed, Durrant.
