MONDAY, 12.30pm: Holwell Sports again went without action as they suffered a postponement for the third time in the last four fixtures.
Their East Midlands Counties League match at Bardon Hill Sports on Saturday was called off because of a frozen pitch.

They will hope to have more luck tomorrow evening when they are due to host Hinckley Downes, a re-arranged fixture after their initial meeting was postponed because of a waterlogged pitch last month.

Matches in Melton and the borough were all unaffected, but Melton Mowbray A's District League Division One fixture at Kibworth Town also fell victim to the big freeze, as did Queniborough's home match with Broughton Astley.

In Syston, FC Kirkland's Premier Division clash with Oadby Boys Club 93 was also postponed.

Division One side Midland Syston St Peter's saw their County FA Shield tie with Barlestone St Giles Res called off for a third time.

With the county FA cup competitions entering their quarter-final stages on Saturday, the Syston side will instead attempt to stage their third round tie with Barlestone St Giles Res for a fourth time.
