WEDNESDAY, 8.50am: Melton Golf Club PGA professional Neil Curtis is champing at the bit after qualifying for the British Club Pro's Championships.
Curtis shot a level par 72 at the qualifying competition at Little Aston GC in Birmingham to reach the national competition for the second year running.

The Melton pro led the field for most of the day, but was delighted to qualify for the championships which this year are being held at Moortown, near Leeds.

He said: "Last year the experience at Royal Porthcawl was fantastic, I can't wait to compete at Moortown at the end of July."
