ASFORDBY AMATEURS 1 TOTTON TIGERS 2
BATTLING Asfordby should have came away with the points.
The first half was all Asfordby with several chances just wide. Colette Hurst was outstanding in midfield with good skill and intelligent passing. After fine link-up play between her and Eleanor Danaher, Kennedy Moulds showed good control to turn and fire in the opener.
A long-range equaliser left keeper Izzie Harrison unsighted.
An end-to-end second half saw Katlin Moulds' long-range shot well saved before another long-range shot put Tigers ahead.
The final minutes brought non-stop Asfordby pressure and only fantastic goalkeeping denied them a deserved equaliser.
Amateurs: I. Harrison, K. Moulds, K. Moulds, S. Anderson, L. Wood, M. Chipman, A. Wiltshire, E. Danaher, C. Hurst.

Ratby made it 4-1, but this was only temporary as Kieran White made it five.

MOWBRAY RANGERS LIONS 1 MELTON FOXES JADES 1
ANOTHER hard-fought local derby saw two well-matched sides playing some lovely football.
A goal by Lions captain Sam Ripley separated the sides at half-time.
The second half continued the same with chances at both ends and both keepers making fine saves. Jades equalised with a great strike on the stroke of full-time.
A fair result with both teams playing well and creating chances. This was another improved performance from Mowbray with good efforts throughout the team in all areas.
Lions' player-of-the-match went to Jamie Tew for his great running, passing and marking.
Lions: Cowan, Snodin, Botterill-Knight, Bennett, Tew, Ripley, Hodson, Simmons.

MELTON FOXES 4 ASFORDBY AMATEURS 7
A FAST-paced derby was played out between two good sides.
A superb short corner routine saw skipper Jamie Gilbertson fire Foxes ahead before Alfie Greaves played in man-of-the-match Oscar Robinson to level for Asfordby.
George Johnson-Popple fired in his fifth Foxes goal of the season only for Greaves to equalise from distance.
Just before half-time, Robinson scored again after good work from Ben Carr and Billy Hull, and Greaves put Asfordby further ahead.
Foxes pushed again straight from kick-off, the excellent Jacob Hughes constantly troubling Asfordby, while the inspirational Harry Trenam fought for every ball.
Unbeaten Asfordby stretched their lead as Robinson and Greaves completed their hat-tricks. Good chances fell to both sides with Hull, Dempsey Mayne and Bradley Callow brilliant at the back and Carr tireless in midfield.
Ben Lumb, who never stopped working, smashed home and Jamie Gilbertson scored his second from distance. Robinson made the game safe after Callow's mazy run and cross.
Amateurs: Carroll, Hull, Mayne, Callow, Carr, Greaves, Robinson, Joliffe, Tinsley.
Foxes: M. Phillips, P. Sherlock, B. Fowkes, B. Lumb, O. Herod, J. Gilbertson (c), H. Trenam, G. Johnson-Popple, J. Hughes.
MOWBRAY RANGERS JAGUARS 1 HUMBERSTONE 0
A TOUGH game from kick-off as Humberstone pushed hard, but Mowbray soon found their feet and defended well.
Alex Wainman denied all attempts with great saves, while defenders Kyle Oakes and Oliver Murch were strong with Jacob Pope and Jack Moulds holding midfield. Danny Bluett's good run and pass set up Michael Orridge to put Jaguars 1-0 up.
The second half was harder with Humberstone trying everything, but the Jags stayed strong. Jack Bush pushed and pushed but was denied, while Benji Shillham and Charlotte Bailey denied the visitors a goal and secured victory from a battling team display.
Jaguars: Wainman, Murch, Oakes, Shilham, Orridge, Pope, Bluett, Moulds, Bush, Bailey.
