SATURDAY, 5pm: We may be in the depths of winter, but the thoughts of junior and senior cricketers at Kinoulton CC have already turned to the summer with the start of winter net sessions at Trent Bridge.
The club continues to grow and develop each year with high quality indoor nets a key attraction that the club offers to all seniors and more experienced juniors.
Kinoulton are recruiting senior players for their Saturday First and Second XIs, Sunday and midweek teams. Their junior section grows each year, with more than 80 boys and girls from six to 16 attending ECB qualified coaching sessions every Friday through the summer.
Boys teams compete regularly with two kwik cricket sides, plus Under 10s and Under 12s hardball.
There are also girls' kwik and hardball sides.
For more, visit the club website at www.kinoultoncc.co.uk or call Dave Richards on 07729 335512.

Both squads along with the club's Under 11s and Under 13s have begun winter nets.
The Under 17s are netting with the senior squad on Friday evenings from 8pm to 9pm at the Leicester Cricket Academy, while the Under 11s and Under 13s got their winter training under way on Sunday at King Edward VII School in the old sports hall.
The Under 11s train from 4pm to 5pm followed by the Under 13s from 5pm to 6pm. The Under 15s had their first session at King Edward VII on Monday from 6pm to 7pm.
New players are welcome to join the sessions at their appropriate age group. Just turn up and make yourself known.
