Four of Melton's teams returned as winners this from this year's event, making them the most successful squad of recent times. Guests watched a video of the day, chronicling the Melton team.
The highlight was the presentations to each team's Playe
r of the Games nominated by their respective team managers.
Melton Council's sports development officer Mark Heazle, who co-ordinated the squad of nearly 200 young people, said: "The party was an ideal way to celebrate the success of the young people this year as well as all of the hard work that has gone into getting them there, with team managers and teachers being key to everything.
"Without their help, we wouldn't have been able to do nearly as well as we did, so I'm very grateful to them."
