A superb spell by under 13 player Tom Glover meant Quorn were always behind the run rate and Chris Limb's fine spell of 2-12 guided Park home by 37 runs.

A good all-round effort by the Park was highlighted by Will Parry's much improved display behind the stumps.

EGERTON PARK v OLD DALBY
Park won by 43 runs

AN opening stand of 45 between Glover and Madden set Park on the way to another victory.

Against a very accurate Dalby attack, Leo Stannard batted well and Tom Czuchaj made 11 before he was run out off the last ball.

Old Dalby made a disastrous start when Matt Howard was run out in the first over following excellent fielding from Stannard.

Tom Bendle and Tom Glover ripped through Old Dalby's batsmen, Tom Wing and Harry Jinks with fine catches. Glover's four overs went for only six runs and produced four wickets.

Czuchaj ran out former Park boy Pryor without scoring and with rain threatening, Jinks had the last batsmen well caught by Bendle with nearly seven overs to spare.

Park: T. Glover 22, C. Madden 23, R. Limb 0, L. Stannard 16*, A. Barnard 1, T. Czuchaj 11, Extras 8. Total: 81-5.

Old Dalby: 38.

BELVOIR v ELLERSLIE
Belvoir won by 41 runs

BELVOIR continued their fine form with a decisive win over Ellerslie.
Making 84 from their 20 overs, Belvoir showed some excellent strokeplay with Tom Copley top scoring with 18.

Belvoir won this match with the ball as man-of-the-match Jack Lyon took 3 for 9 and Joe Bottomley bowled three maiden overs and captured a wicket.

Belvoir: J. Lyon, M. Tomblin, T. Copley, A. Scorror, C. Thompson, T. Martin, G. Mitchell, K. Wade, J. Bottomley, H. Adams.

BELVOIR v WOLLATON
Wollaton won by 6 runs

BELVOIR were put into bat in what turned out to be a very close match.
Tom and Daniel Copley made a solid start, but it was George Mitchell's power which pushed the run rate on, top scoring with 20.

Jack Lyon struck an unbeaten 19, supported by Alex Scorror as Belvoir finished on 96 off their 20 overs.

Every Belvoir bowler kept things tight, but Mitchell again shone taking 2 for 4 off three overs. Michael Tomblin, Alex Scorror and Kieran Wade also picked up a wicket each, but with the last over approaching Wollaton clinched victory.

Notts Under 12s Cup Round 1
ATTENBOROUGH v BELVOIR
Attenborough won

ON a damp evening, Belvoir made the long trip and played the entire tie in appalling weather.

The one highlight was the performance of Charlie and Daniel Copley with the bat.

Their determined effort saw them through 10 overs undefeated to compile the highest stand of the evening.
